Plastics being removed from Hasbro packaging

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) – Hasbro is making a big change to the way it packages toys.
Starting in 2020 the company will be phasing out plastic from new product packaging.
That includes plastic elements like polybags, elastic bands, shrink wrap, window sheets and blister packs.
The company hopes to eliminate virtually all plastic in packaging for new products by the end of 2022.
