Man dies after scuba diving in Newport

A Middletown man has died after scuba diving with a friend in Newport Harbor Sunday night.
Police say the Mark Gruchy, 58, of Middletown, was found in Brenton Cove near the Ida Lewis Yacht Club at around 7:30 p.m.
No further details have been released.
Police say the incident is under investigation.
