New Bedford woman charged with having almost $25,000 worth of heroin

A New Bedford woman has been charged with trafficking heroin with an approximate street value of $25,000.

On Thursday, police arrested 22-year-old Shanika Fowler, of 129 Pleasant St, after executing a search warrant at her apartment.

Police say during the search, they found approximately 250 grams of heroin and $268 in cash.

Fowler is charged with Trafficking in heroin in excess of 200 grams.
