Man drives into shed in Warwick after overdosing

WARWICK, R.I (WLNE) – A man drove into a shed on Sunday night in Warwick after overdosing, according to the city’s fire department.
Police said that 48-year-old Joseph Lyon was found unconscious in his car at the scene on Haswill Street.
Firefighters responded to reports of a shed fire at around 10 p.m.
First responders found Lyon unconscious inside of the car. They said he’d been like that for five minutes before they got there.
Crews were able to get the Lyon out of the car and get him to the hospital.
Police said that the shed had something combustible inside, which caused the fire.
Lyon is being charged with DUI refusal, and DUI BAC unknown.
The driver’s condition is unknown.
