Flash Flood Threat

After over 3″ of rain fell at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick yesterday, A FLASH FLOOD WATCH continues for Providence and Kent Counties through Tuesday evening as more rain moves in over the next 36 hours.

The potential for rain is with us for much of the day and will be heavy at times. It will also be raw with temperatures only in the low to mid 50s. At times we will not experience rain or heavy rain but we continue to see cloudy and damp conditions through at least tomorrow afternoon. By late tomorrow we start to see improvements.

Wednesday will be sunny and dry with temperatures a bit warmer, expect upper 60s. By Thursday and Friday temperatures will be back near average under partly cloudy conditions.
