Taunton court officer pleads not guilty to rape charges

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (AP) _ A Taunton District Court officer has pleaded not guilty to raping his girlfriend’s teenage daughter.

Dwaine Green of Attleboro was granted $10,000 bail at his arraignment Thursday on three counts of child rape.

Prosecutors say the 32-year-old Green was living with the girl and her mother at the time of the alleged assaults when the girl was 14. She is now 15.

Green was arrested Wednesday following an investigation by police and a school resource officer.

Green’s father, Collin Green, said in court that the allegations were untrue. The younger Green has no prior criminal record.
