One man had to be rescued from his 5th floor apartment after it became engulfed in flames. Officials say he was transported to the hospital trauma center where he remains in critical condition.
Hundreds of other residents managed to make it out safely, though much of the building sustained extensive damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
