Woman charged in Pawtucket B&E, stabbing

Police have arrested a Pawtucket woman in connection to the stabbing of another woman at her Pawtucket residence Monday morning.

Crystal Salvas, 39, of Lawton Street was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering and Felony assault. Police are still looking for a male suspect they describe as a white male with blonde hair, 6’0″-6’4″, and has lesions on his face.

Police say they responded to a reported breaking and entering at around 8:30 a.m. at a residence on Orth Street where a female was stabbed.

The victim told police she heard a noise in another room and was confronted by a male and female when she went to check it out.

She told police she was then struck by one of the suspects and then stabbed. The suspects then fled the residence.

The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
