Police ID Westerly man killed after fall

Westerly Police have identified the man that died after falling 80 to 100 feet in a quarry Sunday morning.
28-year-old Jack Daniels, of Westerly, was found at the base of a quarry in serious condition around 2 a.m. Sunday. He was treated on scene but passed away a short time after.
Police say Daniels had been riding motorcycles on the property with three others before the incident, but said he was not on a motorcycle when he fell.
The three witnesses were interviewed before being released. Police are still investigating.
