Cranston Police search for armed invasion suspects

Cranston Police search for two suspects who are allegedly responsible for an armed home invasion that occurred Friday night.

Cranston Police tell ABC 6 the home invasion happened on May 22 at 10:00 p.m. at 116 Wales Street.

The 36 year old female victim was home with her two autistic children, who are seven and eleven years old, when she was hit from behind with a firearm by the intruders.

One intruder stayed in the living room with her two children while the other dragged her through the house looking for money. The victim says both suspects fled the home without taking anything.

Officials believe the home was targeted.

The suspects are described to be males who were wearing gray hooded sweatshirts and dark pants.

One male appeared to be Hispanic, 5’10”, of medium build and the other is just described as being light skinned.

The Cranston Police department is asking anyone with information to call them at 401-942-2211.
