Three men have been indicted on murder charges in the 2013 death of a man during a gang fight at a
The attorney office says Joseph Shepard, 23, Juan Oliver, 21, and Gerrod Crowell, 23, have each been indicted with one count of conspiracy, one count of murder, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, one count of larceny over $500 and one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
The incident happened in May 2013 outside the Saver’s Mart on
It’s alleged that Crowell stabbed one man and attempted to stab another during the fight. Then Shepard stole a vehicle owned by Henry Rodriguez and purposefully ran him over.
The AG’s office then say a second vehicle allegedly driven by Crowell struck Rodriguez as he lay on the street. Oliver was allegedly a passenger in the vehicle.
Shepard and Oliver are currently being held without bail and scheduled to be arraigned May 27.
