Providence City Council to invite PawSox owners to public forum

PROVIDENCE – The Providence City Council decided to invite the PawSox owners to an upcoming public forum.

The owners have not met with the city council yet. Councilman Samuel Zurier brought forth the resolution requesting to invite them Thursday night, saying now is the time for Jim Skeffington and his team to answer their questions.

The public forum is May 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Hope High School. Several city and state representatives are also planning to attend.
