2 Colorado Fugitives arrested in Central Falls after fleeing from Police

The Central Falls Police department arrests two subjects who were Fugitives from Colorado Wednesday evening after they fled from Police presence on numerous charges.
Police arrested John Baker, 38, and Jessica Garret, 32, both of
Officials received an anonymous tip they were attempting to sell an assault rifle and positioned their selves in front of a house at 8:25 p.m. where a white Chevy pickup was parked to further investigate.
The two subjects walked outside and walked up to the pickup truck, Police then approached them and they began to flee.
After chasing the two, Police caught up and arrested them, further investigation led Officials to discover Baker had an active Full Extradition Warrant from the State of
Police searched the truck and seized a Bushmaster assault rifle with a magazine full of 28 live .223 caliber rounds.
Garret’s purse had a magazine for the rifle with 12 live .223 caliber rounds.
Garret had an active Fugitive from Justice Warrant from
Officials also discovered the white Chevy pickup truck was reported stolen from Golden,
Garret was charged with:
- Fugitive from Justice Warrant State of Colorado
- Possession of a Firearm by a Fugitive from Justice
- Possession of Armor Piercing bullets
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a vehicle
- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
- Conspiracy
She was booked and arraigned on May 14 in the Sixth District Court in Providence and was given $100,000 bail with surety on the new charges and held without bail on the Fugitive Warrant from Justice Warrant.
Baker was charged with:
- Fugitive from Justice Warrant State of Colorado
- Possession of a Firearm by a Fugitive from Justice
- Possession of Armor Piercing bullets
- Possession of a Loaded Firearm in a vehicle
- Possession of Heroin
- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
- Conspiracy
- Receiving Stolen Goods-Misdemeanor
He was booked and arraigned on May 14 in front of the Bail Commissioner from the Sixth District Court and given $100,000 bail with surety on the new charges and held without bail on the Fugitive Warrant from Justice Warrant.
