Cranston Public Library to reopen Arlington Branch February 28

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) – The Cranston Public Library’s has announced it’s Arlington Branch at the Cranston Senior Enrichment Center will reopen February 28.
The branch is being reopened after a frozen pipe had burst on January 17 that caused water damage. The library may have limited collections due to the water damage.
“We are excited to have the Edward Costa Memorial Arlington Branch reopen on Monday after the devastating flood which did significant damage to the library itself and our collections. Thank you to Mayor Hopkins, the staff at the Cranston Senior Center, and everyone at the city who helped so quickly in getting the necessary building repairs completed allowing us to reopen.” said, Library Director Edward Garcia.
