Fall River Police say the woman who reported two men tried to abduct her on Division Street Wednesday night now says she may have been mistaken.

Police say the 60-year-old woman has mental health issues and anxiety after being re-interviewed.

The woman was re-interviewed after another woman came to the police station with the van depicted in released surveillance photos and said she drove down Division Street during the time of the incident. Police interviewed her and she was cleared of any wrongdoing.

Police say the investigation into the alleged abduction is closed.

This incident happens on the heals of two attempted abductions in Fall River earlier this week.
