Home damaged in Fairhaven fire

A house in Fairhaven was severely damaged after a fire Thursday afternoon.

Fire department officials say the fire at 451 Sconticut Neck Road happened a around 2:00 p.m.

Crews were quickly able to extinguish the blaze and it appears the cause of the fire is of electrical origin.

No injures were reported.

Damage is estimated to be approximately $80,000.
