Coventry police search for missing man

COVENTRY, R.I. (WLNE)- Police in Coventry have asked the public for help in their search of a missing 42-year-old man.

According to police, they began their investigation on February 23, 2022, after a report of a missing person.

Jeffrey Carreiro, of Coventry, was last seen by his family on February 17 and reported missing on the 23rd. Police say he has not been seen or heard from since.

The Department describes Carreiro as being a white male with short brown hair, brown eyes, 6’1″, and weighs about 185 pounds.

He could be driving a 2017 gray Subaru Outback with Rhode Island registration GU430.

In a Facebook post, Coventry Policed wrote, “Jeffery’s family have concerns for his safety and well-being and is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact, Det. Rich Pendola at 401-822-9123 or rpendola@coventrypd.org.”
