Hit and run in Providence where 2 vehicles crash into property

The Providence Police department responds to a hit and run accident where a vehicle crashes into a house and another into a tree.
On May 2 at 12:47 am Kaila Olivieri, 21, of Providence hit another vehicle then fled on Chalkstone Avenue towards Academy Avenue.
Vehicle number 2 turned around and followed her. Olivieri made a left turn onto Elmcroft Avenue where she hit a tree.
Vehicle number 2 made a quick left turn after Olivieri and lost control of the vehicle on the sandy roadway causing the victim to crash into the concrete exterior stair case of a house.
Olivieri was arrested and cited. She is being charged with one count of Duty to Stop in an Accident Resulting in Damage to an Attended Vehicle and held for her appearance at the Sixth District Court.
No one suffered injuries and the house sustained minor damages.
