Bullet goes through Providence man’s window after shots fired on Sunday

PROVIDENCE R.I. (WLNE)- A man had a bullet go through his window on Sunday night, after shots were fired in Providence, according to the city’s police department.
Police said that shots were fired on Maplehurst Avenue at around 9:30 p.m.
Investigators were able to find 16 shell casings on the street.
A resident of a home on Maplehurst told police that a bullet had came through his window and lodged in a nearby closet door.
The incident remains under investigation.
