The Providence Police department responds to a convenience store where a toddler was found wandering alone.

Police say on April 30 at 10:30 pm, a three year old boy was found wandering alone at a convenience store located on Atwells Avenue and Parnell Street.

Officials say the boy lives on Gray Street which means he had to have crossed at least one street to get to the store.

According to the Police report, the boy was seen wandering without any pants or shoes wearing just a shirt and a diaper.

The store owner brought the boy inside and called Police. He says the boy did the same thing three days earlier.

The three year old boy was taken to the Hasbro Children’s Hospital and the Department of Child Youth and Families along with Youth Service Detectives interviewed the father.

The toddler was returned to his parents.
