#HSVaxWeek: All Providence high schools to host vaccination clinics next week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Providence Public Schools will be launching an initiative called #HSVaxWeek, where all district high schools will host COVID-19 vaccine clinics, from March 7 through 11.

Wellness Company and Noire Health will provide free COVID-19 vaccines during the morning and early afternoon.

Students younger than 16-years-old will be required to have written consent from their parents or guardians to receive a vaccine.

Students will be required to schedule an appointment for their school at the following link.

Students who receive the shot will be monitored for 15 minutes before being allowed to return to class.

Providence schools will be providing information and consent forms to the family of every high school student.

The clinics will take place at the following schools between Monday and Friday:

  • Monday, March 7: Dr. Jorge Alvarez High School and Freshman Academy
  • Tuesday, March 8: Providence Career and Technical Academy and Central High School
  • Wednesday, March 9: Hope High School and Classical High School
  • Thursday, March 10: Mt. Pleasant High School and E-Cubed Academy
  • Friday, March 11: Juanita Sanchez Educational Complex and 360 High School
