Dept. of Corrections Captain arrested for DUI

A Captain at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections has been arrested for DUI.
54-year-old Paul Bartholomy, of Coventry, was driving on Route 102 near Old Raccoon Hill Road when he hit the back of a car Sunday morning around 1:30 a.m.
Sgt. Richard Brown of West Greenwich Police tells ABC6 that Bartholomy failed a field sobriety test on scene and later refused to submit a chemical test.
Four people were taken to the hospital but their injuries were minor.
Bartholomy was charged with DUI and failure to submit a chemical test. He will appear in court at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal on May 5th for the refusal to submit the test, and will appear in Kent County Court on May 6th for the DUI charge.
