Lifespan to announce end of military medical personnel support in RI hospitals

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Lifespan will be holding a briefing Friday to discuss the end of military medical personnel support in Rhode Island hospitals.

In a release, Lifespan announced that emergency medical professionals in Rhode Island Hospital and Hasbro Children’s Hospital will conclude their operations on Sunday, March 6.

The briefing is scheduled for 1:00pm at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

Lifespan will also be holding a Good Night Lights celebration at 8:30pm.

“RIH and Hasboro Children’s Hospital will honor and than the 14th field hospital military medical team’s end of service,” says a spokesperson for Lifespan.
