Rehoboth firefighters battle overnight fire at spa

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE)- Firefighters from the Rehoboth Fire Department battled a fire at a spa early on Saturday morning.

First responders arrived to the scene on Barney Ave. at around 4 a.m., where a patrolling police officer had spotted fire and smoke coming from the windows of the spa.

The fire department said that the fire was able to be contained to the sauna room, but the entire first floor had suffered damage from the smoke.

Investigators said that the cause of the fire appears to be electrical, but they are still investigating.
