2 men injured outside local Providence bar

The Providence Police Department investigates a disturbance outside of a bar that left two men injured.

Police told ABC6 at 2:45 am on April 18, 25 people male and female were involved in a disagreement at the intersection of Andem and Bergen Streets near Steam Tap Bar.

Officials say two men suffered non-life threatening injuries during the occurrence. One male suffered a broken leg and another was stabbed or shot in the back. They were taken to the hospital and it is still unclear what type of injury the second victim suffered.

Their names have not been released and the case remains under investigation.
