New Bedford man arrested for having drugs and a weapon

The New Bedford Police Department arrests a man after finding a weapon and drugs in his apartment.

On April 11 at 3:30 pm members of the New Bedford Police Department’s Organized Crime and Intelligence Bureau obtained two search warrants for an apartment on County Street.

Upon searching, Officials found 4 grams of heroin, 5 grams of cocaine, 19 suboxone strips, a .25 caliber raven handgun with 5 rounds of ammunition and over one thousand dollars in cash.

Police arrested Brain Rudolph, 46, of New Bedford. He is being arraigned Monday on drug and firearm charges at the District Court in New Bedford.
