Free downtown parking in Providence on Saturdays

Mayor Jorge Elorza has announced free parking downtown on Saturdays for the next month.
The ‘Buy Into Spring’ campaign is aimed at encouraging local shopping to help small businesses, especially after a lousy winter.
Anyone dining or shopping downtown can park for free for up to two hours in designated areas starting this Saturday.
The Mayor also announced #BuyIntoSpring to encourage people to take pictures in the City and post them on social media.
