Firefighters in Swansea helped save a horse that became wedged in a tight space Sunday. Crews had to pull the horse out from between two barn walls after she fell in and got stuck.
Splash was tranquillized by a vet, and after being stuck for about 15 minutes firefighters managed to pull her to safety. The horse’s owner says splash got spooked while walking out of the barn.
“She was really good. She’s actually completely blind on her left side so she actually fell with her left side up so she really couldn’t see what was going on and the vet believes that’s probably what kept her as calm as it did,” said owner Jesse Taylor.
Splash was a little drowsy after the ordeal, but is expected to be fine.
