PROVIDENCE, RI- Her presidential ambitions have been well–known for more than 8–years and in her “Hillary for America” video, Clinton has erased any doubt.
“I’m running for President,” said Clinton.
The video features families of different races and sexual preferences and focuses on education and jobs.
Clinton will now likely go head-to-head with former Governor, Lincoln Chafee– who in a surprise announcement shocked everyone by confirming that he’s running too.
Ellie, who lives in Cranston said, “I just don’t like them. The governor, I don’t think he did anything for this state and I don’t know about her with her corruption. You know, I still feel she’s corrupt doing what she did with erasing her things.”
Clinton was recently questioned about her use of personal emails for government business. Many worry that she’s not transparent.
Tony Lux of Warwick said, “People forget. People forget; they got short memories.”
Others think her so-called “scandals” are old news and that she has a better chance than Chafee.
Rep. Jim Langevin said, “In this election I’m supporting Hillary Clinton. No disrespect to Lincoln Chafee; I admire him, he’s a great person and committed to public service but my decision was made long ago and I’m proud to support Hillary.”
Thrilled that she finally made the announcement, Langevin will support Clinton like he did in 2008 when he was a campaign co–chair.
Clinton is expected make stops in some key early voting states like Iowa and New Hampshire.
