Police arrest Barrington bank robbery suspect

Barrington Police have arrested the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred on April 2nd.
31-year-old Aaron M. LaPointe, of East Providence, was taken into custody Wednesday following a robbery at the Citizens Bank on County Road.
LaPointe was located on a RIPTA bus after a four and a half day search by Barrington Police and was arrested without incident. He was not armed at the time of the arrest and possessed about $150 in cash.
Police are still investigating.
