Police: Body found in woods off of Post Road

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE)- The Warwick Police department has confirmed that they responded to reports of a body in a wooded area off of 1960 Post Road.

Police found the body at shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, they say the body was in late stages of decomposition.

An investigation is under way, at this time the identity of the body is unconfirmed.
