Fatal fire in Taunton overnight

One man is dead after a fire in Taunton.
The fire broke out at a home on Tremont Street a little after 3:30 a.m.
Officials identified 65-year-old Jeff Baker as the victim.
A taxi cab driver called 911 to alert crews about the fire.
Neighbors say the Baker had a dog, a pit bull rescue named Cotton, who is still unaccounted for.
It appears no one else was inside at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is not immediately known.
