Stop & Shop pulling items after recall

Stop & Shop is pulling four items of the shelves after product recalls from two companies.
Sylvia’s Rib & More Rub has been recalled by World Finer Foods after it was discovered that the product may contain peanuts, an allergen that is not listed on the ingredient label. It is safe to consume for individuals who do not have a peanut allergy.
- Sylvia’s Rib & More Rub, 5.5 oz., UPC 60862300068, Lot Number 123117
Stop & Shop also pulled Badia Ground Cumin, which has been recalled by Badia Spices Inc. The Badia Ground Cumin may also contain peanuts, which is not listed on the ingredient label. The product is safe to consume for individuals who do not have a peanut allergy.
- Badia Ground Cumin, 2 oz., UPC 03384400007, Lot Number 116837 with a best by date of 7/2019
- Badia Ground Cumin, 7 oz., UPC 03384400002, Lot Number 117151 with a best by date of 7/2019
- Badia Ground Cumin, 16 oz., UPC 03384400516, Lot Number 116696 with a best by date of 7/2019
Customer who may have purchased these products should discard any unused portions and bring their receipt to Stop & Shop for a full refund.
There are no reports of illnesses to date.
