Norwood man charged for impersonating state trooper while demanding sexual acts

NORWOOD, Mass. (WLNE)- A multi-agency investigation has lead to the arrest of multiple people for paying for sex, one of them impersonating a state trooper and threatening to arrest a woman if she did not comply with his demands.
Mohammed Elawad, 30, of Norwood, was charged with paying for sexual conduct and impersonating a police officer.
Officers found police stickers and clothing in his car that suggested Elawad had been posing as a state trooper.
Charles Saia, 70, of Waltham, was also arrested and charged with paying for sexual conduct, and distribution and possession of a class B narcotic.
Both men are scheduled to be arraigned today.
