Mark and Steve are back at it with another edition of the Curtis/Cascione Cook Off from the Home Show.

The Curtis-Cascione Cook Off task today was preparing the Italian classic, “sausage and peppers” for a panel of five distinguished judges.

Steve’s secret ingredient? Red bliss potatoes. Mark’s secret sauce contains Marsala wine. The judges were torn…

“I like the juiciness of it and the taste was really good. It could use a little bit more spice. But that’s all right. I really liked it. I’m going with Mark.”

“One for Curtis. One”

“But I lean towards the spicy. It reminded me of my grandmothers cooking—not that you’re a grandmother—but it was very good, so I’m going to go with Cascione on this one!”

They did like both dishes, but all three other judges gave the edge to Curtis.

“All right I win this won, 4 to… after you wiped me out last time, 5 to 0. We’ll do this one again! It’s lots of fun.
