1 of 2 suspects arrested in New Bedford bank robbery

Police have arrested one of the suspects involved in the robbery of the New Bedford Credit Union Tuesday morning.
33-year-old Jesse James Hamel of
Hamel entered the New Bedford Credit Union on
Police say he then fled and joined a black male in the parking lot. Both ran together on
Police say Hamel suffered a medical emergency and is currently being treated at St. Luke’s Hospital. He is being charged with a count of Unarmed Robbery.
