3 Men arrested on drug distribution charges

PROVIDENCE, RI_ Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HITDA), along with other Law enforcement agencies arrest three men on drug distribution charges with the seizure of a kilogram of cocaine.

On March 2, HIDTA Task Force, the United States Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations and the United States Postal Inspection Service conducted an investigation which lead them to the arrest of Kley Guerra, 41, Jose Guerra, 26, and Ceasar Morales, 22.

The arrest was made due to an international package seized at the U.S. border and arrival at the United States post office in Providence.

All three suspects were charged with manufacture, possession with intent to deliver (cocaine), Possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) 1 oz to 1 kilo, and conspiracy to possess cocaine.

The three arrested were arraigned and held without bail. However a bail is scheduled for March 13.
