Man seriously injured in Pawtucket hit & run

Pawtucket Police are investigating a hit and run that left a pedestrian with serious injuries early Saturday morning. 

The pedestrian was walking southbound on Newport Ave between 1 and 2:30 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle. He was wearing a bright red jacket and dark pants at the time.

Police say the victim is being treated at the hospital for serious injuries.
