Well, we now know who he called: accused accomplice, Earnest Wallace.
Flash forward to the days before the murder.
Sprint specialist, Richardo Leal reads messages sent between Hernandez and Wallace.
A few texts from Hernandez show he wanted to hang out with the guys because he was annoyed with his girlfriend and wanted to get away.
That same night, cell towers picked up four calls to Odin Lloyd from Wallce’s phone while he was allegedly riding with Hernandez. Each call shows a tower that gets closer and closer to Odin’s home.
Since Sprint only collects phone activity- not the actual content– Leal verified the time and dates matching those texts.
But some messages are missing from Hernandez’ phone; they may have been erased.
During the defense’s cross examination, Leal seemed annoyed by repetitive questions. Hernandez found the back–n–forth amusing.
