Providence man will spend life behind bars for 2013 murder

A Providence man will spend the rest of his life in prison for shooting and killing a man in June of 2013.

Judier Dixon entered a guilty plea in court Thursday morning, and was sentenced shortly after.

Dixon shot and killed 46-year-old Richard Arenas while he was working on his car in his Providence driveway.

Dixon was arrested a month after the crime in Alabama.
