It’s bitter cold in Rhode Island and snow is on the way, but love is still in the air. Most every restaurant in Providence is booked solid for Valentine’s Day and they hope to keep it that way.
The calls are already starting to come in at Aspire, Providence: Valentine’s Day cancellations. But if you and your hunny booked at Aspire, you are in luck.
“We are willing to accommodate anyone who cancels tomorrow to come back next Saturday and we will offer the same menu and we will take off twenty dollars per couple,” Executive Chef Juri Rieben.
One of the most popular spots for romance on Saturday is Federal Hill in Providence. Zooma on the hill is prepared. They are fully booked for Valentine’s Day.
“We are prepped and ready to go,” General Manager Armando Bisceglia said. “As you can see the room is full and ready to go. If we lose some cancellations then so be it. The weather is something we just can’t do anything about.“
“You get excited as an owner to see the books, to have people come to your restaurant,” Edward Brady, owner of the Vanity Supper Club, said. “So with the storm coming it was just like, (sigh) c’mon but we are hoping for the best, that it passes us by and that people have a great day.”
All of the restaurants ABC 6 spoke with offer valet service and say parking won’t be an issue.
