“I’m getting three powerball tickets please.”

Vista Donuts in Attleboro is a popular spot to play the lotto and on this day, it’s the place to try to strike it rich playing Powerball.

“If I hit I would buy my kids a new car my uncle a new car. Oh yea,” Brenda Bryant says.

“It was busy this morning, really busy. All the people are just hoping for the best that they win,” Rita LaPorte , who works at Vista, said.

But winning is not easy. There hasn’t been a winner since November 29th, which is why the Jackpot is so large.

The odds of winning are1 in 175 million. You have a better chance of getting attacked by a shark. The odds: 1 in 11.5 million. The odds of getting struck by lightning 1 in 10,000 and the odds of dating a super model 1 in 88,000
Ummmm sounds good but I  wouldn’t want the model. well, it depends who the model is… male or female… male I am all over it,” Mona Reis said with a laugh.

“No, not really. Anytime I would rather have the money,” Bryant said.

Added LaPorte, “Of course the winnings. I could get a lot of favorite actors when I win.

No matter what the odds most people’s philosophy is simple: “If I don’t play I am not going to win.
