Police seize suspected cocaine worth over $70K from Rehoboth home

Police said they seized suspected cocaine that’s worth over $70,000 from a Rehoboth home Thursday.
Sgt. Brian Ramos said they, along with other agencies, received information about several packages being shipped to the Cedar Street home from Puerto Rico.
Those packages, Ramos said, were suspected to contain a large amount of cocaine.
After obtaining a search warrant, police said they found packages that contained almost two kilograms of suspected cocaine.
While this incident still remains under investigation, Ramos said a possible suspect is from Providence.
No further information was immediately released.
