Sonic announces plans to come to RI

The popular drive-in burger chain Sonic is finally coming to Rhode Island.
And there’s not just one or two – the company expects to open twenty to twenty-five of them, eventually.
Sonic says its first location is expected to open by the middle of the year.
Two more locations are expected in the next few years.
Even though the company has drive-ins, Sonic says it’s also going to have dining rooms.
The restaurant chain has been around for 60 years.
