City and state leaders, hundreds, gather in solidarity for Ukraine at State House

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- Hundreds of people, including city and state leaders, gathered at the State House on Saturday afternoon, in solidarity for Ukraine.

Attendees dressed in the colors of the Ukrainian flag and enjoyed Ukrainian music at the rally.

Gov. Dan McKee was in attendance, standing with those battling Russian forces.

“Just imagine if we were standing here and bombs and missiles were coming down on Rhode Island,” said McKee.
