Victim hospitalized after being stabbed outside of lounge in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE)- The victim of a stabbing in New Bedford had to be taken to hospital early on Sunday morning, according to the city’s police department.

Police said that they responded to the Morna Lounge on Acushnet Avenue at around 1 a.m.

First responders found the stabbing victim and transported them to the hospital.

Investigators were able to arrest one suspect connected to the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
