Two children and one adult are hospitalized this morning after a carbon monoxide scare in their home on Bridgham Street.
Fire fighters say that a woman came home to find her husband and two children unconscious. She acted quickly and got them out of the house.
When officials arrived they found extremely high carbon monoxide levels in the home. Upon investigation it appeared that snow had blocked a vent on a direct vent boiler causing the house to become overcome with carbon monoxide.
The three individuals were brought to the hospital where their conditions are currently unknown.
Providence firefighters are urging everyone to check their vents and ensure they are not blocked.
