One arrested for driving during travel ban

Only one person was arrested for violating the statewide travel ban during the blizzard.

The man was caught speeding down the icy highway around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon

State Police say the man was traveling more than eighty miles an hour. He also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from a local municipality. He was arraigned for violating the travel ban on Tuesday at state police barracks.
