Motorcycle driver hospitalized after hitting tree

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE): A motorcycle driver was hospitalized after he hit a tree on Central Ave. in Johnston on Sunday night, according to the Fire Department.

The driver appeared to have lost control and hit the tree after 7:30 p.m.  Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. 

The driver was transported to Rhode Island Hospital for injuries including a neck laceration.
