Raimondo announces State of Emergency for RI

Governor Gina Raimondo has announced a State of
Raimondo is asking people to stay off the roads after 8 p.m. on Monday. At midnight a travel ban will go into effect across the state until further notice.
Rhode Island State Police said it is a strong possibility that
National Grid has 1,000 crews on hand to help restore power as outages are extremely likely with wind gusts up to 70 mph. Coastal communities are most at risk of losing power.
